🧳 Packing Tips for Lake Como:
As you prepare for the weekend, here are a few helpful tips to make sure you’re comfortable and well-equipped throughout your stay and during each event:
👗 Attire & Event Dress Code:
Please refer to Event Details section on our website for attire suggestions for each celebration. Each event has its own style—think elegant, fun, and weather-aware!
🌦 Weather in Como:
Lake Como weather can be moody—with sun, clouds, and the occasional quick-passing rain shower all in one day.
Daytime temps typically hover around 70°F / 21°C
Evenings can dip into the 50s°F / 10°C
We recommend packing:
A light jacket or shawl for the evenings
A compact umbrella or rain jacket in case of sudden rain
👠 Shoe Tips:
Cobblestone streets and uneven paths are part of Lake Como’s charm—so please pack accordingly:
Avoid stilettos or delicate heels for walking around town
For the Welcome Party, the boat will be cruising the lake the entire time—opt for comfortable and stable shoes
For the wedding ceremony, note that the entrance includes gravel and cobblestones—we recommend a thick or block heel to avoid slipping
🌍 International Travel Essentials:
When traveling abroad, a few small items can make a big difference. Here’s what we recommend packing for a smooth experience in Italy:
Plug adapters for European outlets (Italy uses Type C, F, and L plugs)
Voltage converters for hair tools (Europe runs on 220V—check your device’s voltage compatibility)
Travel-size toiletries, as European hotels often provide limited bathroom amenities
Copies of your passport and travel documents in case of emergencies
Any necessary prescription medications you may not be able to access abroad—bring enough for the full trip, including extras just in case
International phone plan, if applicable
